The bracts of the Monet and Monet Twilight varieties have a peach color or ivory with a pink undertone and characteristic bright red streaks or spots, the intensity of which increases with age. The plant has strong, well-formed bracts, elegant foliage, and a compact shape characteristic of commercial varieties.
The plant is used as a decorative potted plant for interior decoration during the winter period. The Monet Twilight variety is distinguished by strong branches and is suitable for growing in containers, baskets, or for training into a tree form. There is also a separate breeding variety, Monet Early, with a similar bract pattern.
