The variety was used in 1994–1996 in industrial greenhouses in northern Italy as part of research on whitefly control. In test farms, it accounted for more than 60% of all grown plants, which made it the primary subject for monitoring pest and parasitoid populations.
The morphological features of the variety are presented to a limited extent in available publications; only the presence of wide bracts is known. Detailed botanical descriptions, data on maturity group, or official resistance characteristics are absent.
