The variety is a mutation (sport) of the Wonderstar variety. The plant is characterized by a compact shape and a double flowering type. The dark red bracts are resistant to fading, and the dark green foliage is not prone to drooping.
The variety is adapted for use as a potted crop, including placement in hanging baskets. The plant is capable of maintaining its decorative qualities at a storage temperature of 10 to 15°C and possesses high shelf life indicators.
