Variety description

The variety is a compact, upright and dense shrub. The plant is deciduous, possessing small oval light-green leaves. Unlike the species form, this variety is characterized by a slower growth rate.

Abundant flowering occurs in spring or early summer. The flower buds resemble pearls, opening into cup-shaped white flowers gathered in raceme-like inflorescences. The plant is low-maintenance, practically unaffected by pests, but can be susceptible to fungal diseases.

The variety is intended for ornamental use in borders, flower beds, urban gardens, and cultivation in containers. In a number of sources, it is classified as a hybrid form, often found among modern cultivated representatives of Exochorda.
