Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 2 to 4 meters and forms dense clumps that do not require root barriers. When grown in sunny areas, the stems acquire an intense purple or nearly black color, while remaining relatively thin and stable.
The leaves of the variety are bright green, narrow, and show a lower tendency to curl under adverse weather conditions compared to other members of the Jiuzhaigou group. The plant has high winter hardiness down to -20...-25°C and tolerates pruning well.
The variety is suitable for use as a specimen plant, for creating hedges, and for container cultivation. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and requires regular watering and fertilization when grown in pots.
