Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps with yellow-green or yellow-gray foliage, the color of which becomes brighter in full sun. From June to August, flower stalks with narrow spikelets appear above the leaves. Ornamental appearance is maintained during the winter period.

The variety is intended for rock gardens, container planting, and prairie compositions. The plant is drought tolerant after rooting, prefers permeable soils with a pH level from 6.0 to 7.5.
