The variety is intended for creating hayfields and pastures, as well as for turf restoration. It belongs to the loose-bunch grasses and is valued for its good feed value, rapid regrowth after mowing, and the ability to form high-quality sward.
The variety Arita is used in professional grass mixtures, where its proportion in combination with perennial and annual ryegrass is about 15%.
