According to official European classifiers, the Darimo variety belongs to meadow fescue, although in a number of applied studies there are cases of erroneous or parallel attribution of this name to perennial ryegrass.

The plant demonstrates strong interaction with growing conditions. The economic value of the variety is confirmed by a consistently low concentration of crude fiber in all cuts compared to other varieties, as well as high productivity in the first cut.

The variety is a component of grass mixtures for creating pasture lands and hayfields. Detailed morphological parameters, such as exact height or maturity group, as well as specific data on resistance to diseases or lodging, are absent in open scientific publications.
