The variety is an upper-level perennial grass with stem height from 80 to 120 cm. The plant possesses high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and the ability to withstand short-term flooding.
The variety is suitable for haymaking (provides 2–3 cuts) and pasture use (4–5 cycles). The green mass and hay are readily eaten by animals. It is used both independently and in grass mixtures with alfalfa, clover, timothy grass, smooth brome, and orchard grass, as well as a lawn grass.
