Variety description

The variety is a deciduous multi-stemmed shrub with a dense, rounded crown, reaching a height of 1.5–1.8 meters. The plant is slow-growing and has sturdy, upright shoots.
A distinctive feature is the foliage with an intense glaucous, powder-blue hue in the summer, which turns vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow in the autumn. Flowering occurs in early spring, before or during leaf emergence, with fragrant creamy-white spike-like inflorescences.
The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 4–8 and is resistant to diseases and pests. The plant is used in landscape design as a specimen plant or in group plantings.
