The Rebecka variety is a Fragaria x vescana hybrid obtained by crossing garden strawberry and woodland strawberry. The plant has a ground-cover growth habit with semi-evergreen leaves and moderate runner formation.
The variety is day-neutral and capable of fruiting throughout the summer and autumn. Berries have an average weight of 8–9 g, a soft consistency, and a pronounced wild aroma.
Plants are characterized by high winter hardiness and good foliage health with rare symptoms of diseases.
