The variety has the working name BG-6.3016 and the commercial name Primavera. Genetically, the variety is the result of crossing BG-959 and BG-219.068. The plant is compact, with medium-length flower stalks.
The berries have a conical shape and firm flesh. The sugar content in the fruits is consistently medium to high. In field conditions, the variety exhibits varying degrees of susceptibility to diseases, in particular, to anthracnose.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in tunnels and open field. It was initially oriented toward the conditions of the central coast of California, but has also become widespread in regions with a temperate climate, such as Southern Europe and the Mediterranean.
