The variety is the result of crossing the Dorset and Early Cambridge varieties. The plant reaches a height of about 20 cm and a width of 30 cm; it belongs to semi-deciduous herbaceous crops.
The fruits are characterized by a soft consistency and are not suitable for transport, therefore the variety is intended for consumption immediately after harvest. The plant is hardy but requires good soil drainage and adherence to crop rotation rules to prevent Verticillium wilt.
