The variety was obtained in 2010 as a result of a controlled cross between the maternal line DrisStrawFortyOne and the paternal line 96Q116. Selection of the promising sample was carried out in 2011 in Monterey County, California. The plant is characterized as partially everbearing and is adapted to the conditions of the central coast of California.

The fruits have an average weight of about 23.9 g and a conical shape. Skin color is deep red (RHS 46A), flesh is moderately red (RHS N45B). Core color varies from moderately reddish (RHS 41C) to pinkish-white (RHS N155C).
