The variety was obtained as a result of a controlled cross between lines 74G14 and 6F-158. The plant is characterized by dark green foliage and the ability to re-fruit, which is due to a neutral response to day length.
Fruits are of medium to large size and conical shape. The variety was adapted for commercial cultivation under winter conditions in the state of Florida, USA, and is known in trade under the name Fort Brooke™.
