Early-maturing variety, with flowering and ripening occurring 5–10 days earlier than the Honeoye variety. The plant forms bushes with moderate growth energy and an upright habit; flower stalks provide good fruit exposure.
The berries have a regular conical shape and dark red color with contrasting yellow achenes. The average fruit size is 25–35 mm, the flesh is moderately firm, and the skin strength is high.
The variety is resistant to powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca macularis) but susceptible to Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae).
