The Inga variety was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties Frau Direktor Echtenmeyer and V.H. de Thury. The plant is characterized as an early variety with high taste qualities.
The name Inga appears in a number of modern scientific publications dedicated to the study of antioxidant properties, disease resistance, and genetic diversity of strawberries, however, detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics of the variety in open sources are limited.
