The Lihama variety was actively used in breeding as one of the parental components. In particular, it was used in a cross with the Pocahontas variety to develop the Finnish early variety Mari, as well as in crosses with the Dunlap variety to obtain the Bromba variety.
In agronomic sources, the variety is mentioned primarily as an object for comparative trials, in particular, in studies with the Senga Sengana variety. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and a description of the fruits are absent in open publications.
