The variety forms strong and hardy plants. The fruits are large in size, round to blunt-conical in shape, with white skin and a possible pink blush on the sunny side. The flesh is pure white and is distinguished by a pronounced pineapple aroma.
The variety is intended for amateur gardening, as it is inferior to commercial varieties in terms of yield and reliability. There are historical assumptions that several different varieties may have been grouped under the name Lennig's White in the past.
