The variety was obtained by crossing Lateglow and Allstar. Plants possess high growth vigor, winter hardiness, and the ability to actively produce runners, making them suitable for cultivation in a matted row system.
The berries are large, with an average weight of about 12 g. The shape of the fruit varies from broad-shouldered to short-conical, the color is glossy bright scarlet, turning dark red upon full maturity. The flesh and skin have good firmness; the taste is characterized as mildly aromatic, sweet-and-sour.
The variety possesses resistance to red stele root rot caused by Phytophthora fragariae. During agrotechnical studies, the plant's susceptibility to anthracnose was also evaluated.
