The variety was obtained by crossing the American variety Southland and a seedling of the variety Dorsett. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and forms large dark red fruits having a conical or wedge shape.
The flesh of the berries is light red, firm, and possesses a sweet-and-sour taste with a mild aroma. The variety is suitable for dessert purposes and industrial processing, including deep freezing. The plants possess fairly high resistance to fungal diseases.
