Marmion bushes are large, vigorous, of semi-spreading form with round serrated leaves. Upon ripening, the berries acquire a dark burgundy or red-raspberry color and a glossy surface; their average weight varies from 32 to 50 g. The berry flesh is juicy, with a sweet dessert taste.
The variety possesses resistance to root rot and brown leaf spot; winter hardiness is estimated as medium. In the scientific community, the variety is being studied as part of genetic screening for the presence of resistance alleles to fungal infections, such as Rca2 and QTL 08 To-f.
