The variety belongs to the short-day group and is adapted to early autumn planting using winter production systems. Plants possess moderate to high vigor, while the bush is somewhat more compact in size than that of the Ventana variety.
The fruits have a bright red color and consistent size. Although the berries may be less firm compared to some other university varieties, they demonstrate good resistance to rainy weather.
The variety possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt, but remains susceptible to Phytophthora crown rot. The variety is intended for commercial use in regions with mild climates where winter fruit production is practiced.
