The variety is classified as mid-late. It possesses a certain resistance to powdery mildew, surpassing the 'Shuksan' variety in this indicator, however, it shows less tolerance to certain virus complexes.
The fruits of the variety are characterized by a high sugar-to-titratable acidity ratio. Historically, the variety was used in breeding to develop new forms adapted to the conditions of the Pacific Northwest; in particular, it participated in the creation of the 'Totem' variety.
