The variety is used as an ornamental plant and a floral crop for cutting. In trade catalogs, it appears under the name Enkelbloemig Monza, which means single-flowered freesia.

The plant is characterized by yellow flowers. Some descriptions indicate the absence of a pronounced fragrance typical of other freesia varieties. The stem length when sold as a cut flower is approximately 52 cm.
