The plant is a variegated sport of the variety Thalia. It is a small branching shrub reaching up to 1.2 m in height and width, often limited to a size of 60 cm when grown in containers.
The leaves are olive-green with a creamy margin and pink veins; additional pink shades may appear during flowering. Single tubular flowers of coral-orange or salmon-orange color are gathered in terminal inflorescences. Flowering lasts from early summer to late autumn.
The variety is thermophilic, with a USDA hardiness zone of 9a–11; in temperate climates, it is grown as an annual or requires overwintering indoors. It prefers partial shade or sun, rich well-drained soils, and moderate watering.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
