The plant forms large pure white nodding flowers approximately 2.5 cm in size. The inner petals feature characteristic heart-shaped green markings. Leaves are broad, glaucous-green with a sheen, and arranged vertically. Plant height varies from 20 to 30 cm.

The variety is early-blooming; flowering occurs in March-April. It is characterized by sturdy flower stalks and good winter hardiness in zones 3–8/9. The plant is fast-growing, resistant to rodents, and suitable for naturalization in gardens, under tree canopies, in rock gardens, and in containers.
