Variety description

The plant is a compact herbaceous bush 25–30 cm in height. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, and dark green. Flowering begins in June and continues until mid- or late summer.
The flowers are funnel-shaped and colored light violet-blue. A varietal characteristic is the frequent incomplete opening of the buds. The plant prefers well-drained acidic or neutral soils, requires cool locations and humid air, and tolerates transplanting poorly.
The variety is intended for ornamental gardening and is suitable for container planting, rock gardens, and borders.
