The plant forms a compact bush covered with felted, fresh-green leaves that turn red-orange and purple in late summer and autumn. The flowers possess radial symmetry, have a soft pink hue, dark veins, and a pronounced white center.
The variety is intended for use as a groundcover or container crop. The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade, and requires moderately nutritious, moisture-retentive, but well-drained soils. During the winter period, it is critically important to avoid excessive soil moisture.
