The flowers of the variety are large, with a diameter of 8 to 15 cm, colored in a saturated scarlet or red. The petals are semi-double with ruffled edges; in some cases, lighter shades toward the center of the flower or a white longitudinal stripe are possible, as well as variations toward pink and lavender tones. The variety is a mutant.
The plant reaches a height of 80 to 145 cm and forms strong upright stems, requiring support when grown in windy areas. Flowering continues from July to September. The variety has high resistance to diseases and is suitable for use in mixed borders, group plantings, and floristry.
