Gladiolus Beau Jour is a large-flowered variety characterized by red inflorescences. Adult plant height varies from 130 to 150 cm.
The variety is intended primarily for commercial use as a cut flower crop. Forcing periods are 80–90 days. During breeding trials, the variety underwent laboratory testing for the presence of viral infections.
