The variety belongs to the large-flowered hybrid group. The flower diameter is 10–15 cm, and their color is classified as deep burgundy-red with brown-purple shades. The flower stalks are characterized as strong and tall.
The plant blooms from July to September. The variety is not winter-hardy, so in temperate climates, the corms require mandatory lifting for the winter. It prefers sunny locations protected from the wind.
