The variety belongs to the large-flowered gladiolus group. The flowers have a diameter of 9 to 15 cm, and the flower stalks bear 9 to 20 buds. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 90–150 cm. The flowering period occurs in July and August.
The variety is suitable for cutting and planting in mixed borders. The plant requires lifting for the winter period, as its winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 10a. The flowers are resistant to rain and sunlight.
