Flowers 14–15 cm in diameter have a scarlet color with an asymmetrical moiré pattern of white smears. Up to 20–25 buds are formed on each flower stalk, opening in groups of 5–8. The plant reaches a height of 100–130 cm and requires mandatory staking due to the weight of the inflorescences.
The flowering period falls between July and September. The variety prefers sunny locations with drained slightly acidic soil. The plant does not overwinter in open field, therefore the bulbs require annual digging and storage in a cool room.
