R.A. GOEMANS
10 August 2026
The flowers of the variety are large, 12–15 cm in diameter, with a velvety texture and ruffled petal edges. The color is violet with a burgundy tint and a characteristic red or crimson spot in the center. The inflorescence is spike-shaped, with 8 to 15 buds opening simultaneously on the flower stalk.
The plant reaches a height of 100–120 cm and blooms from July to September. The variety is not frost-hardy, so the corms require digging up for the winter. Sunny areas protected from wind are necessary for cultivation; staking is recommended.
