Variety AP 2292 is used as genetic material for the creation of new breeding lines and participates in comparative trials of yield and seed quality. Research includes the evaluation of genotype yield stability under various environmental conditions.

Under laboratory conditions, the variety demonstrated a low seed germination rate. The variety was also used in physiological experiments to study plant response to salt stress, including the analysis of dry matter accumulation and the distribution of microelements in plant organs.
