The variety "Chernyatka" was obtained at the Institute of Plant Science of the NAAS of Ukraine. Genetically, it is linked to the crossing combination of "Чайка" and "Шведская 4/75". The variety served as a parent form in the breeding of such varieties as "Ворскла", "Хвыля", and "Вильшанка".

The variety belongs to the fourth maturity group. Studies note its high potential for forming productive nodes and resistance to the effects of heavy metals. The crop is characterized by adaptability to northern latitudes, and is also used in scientific research on nitrogen fixation and stress tolerance.

Intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions of Ukraine. Data on protein and fat content in seeds depend on specific growing conditions.
