The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. Plants of the indeterminate growth type have a medium to high height. Leaves are lanceolate and dark green in color, flowers are purple. The variety is distinguished by high placement of the lower pod and developed lateral branching, which facilitates mechanical harvesting.
Grain is round in shape, yellow in color with a dark brown hilum. The thousand kernel weight is 156–170 g. Protein content varies from 39 to 43%, oil content is 20–22%, and the variety is high-oleic.
The plant is resistant to lodging, shattering, and pod splitting. High drought tolerance is associated with the morphological characteristics of the leaves. The grain is used for feed and food purposes.
