The variety was obtained by hybridization. It belongs to maturity group I and is intended for large-scale grain production, having long been a standard variety in Croatia.
The plant possesses resistance to Septoria, powdery mildew, brown rust and stem rust, as well as snow mold. The variety is distinguished by high productivity; its grain has been studied for oil and triacylglycerol composition.
