Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to maturity group 00, which makes it suitable for regions with a short growing season. Research notes that the seed protein content of this variety may be lower compared to a number of other varieties.

In pathological studies, the variety is characterized as susceptible to Phytophthora root rot, and as a result, it was used as a test crop for identifying pathogens in the soil. The variety possesses genetic specificity in its interaction with nodule bacteria, in particular, it does not form symbiosis with certain strains of Sinorhizobium fredii.

The variety was used in breeding work as genetic material for the development of other soybean varieties. Currently, it primarily retains its importance as a historical standard of an early-maturing genotype for conducting physiological and biological experiments.
