The soybean variety 'Milena' was obtained as a result of scientific breeding work at the Scientific Center of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia. The primary method for creating this variety was individual selection from specimens of the world culture collection.

The plant belongs to the early-maturing group. Research confirms that the productivity indicators and characteristics of the variety exceed the parameters of the local standard 'Vagarshapati-2' under the conditions of the Ararat Plain and the Syunik zone of Armenia.
