The variety belongs to the relative maturity group RM 1.6 with a heat unit rating of 2925. The seeds are spherical in shape with an imperfect yellow hilum.

The variety is susceptible to soybean cyst nematode, due to which it is often used in scientific research as a parent line for resistance gene mapping. In field trials, the variety demonstrates high but variable yield depending on cultivation conditions.

In addition to food use, the variety is used as an object for studying plant adaptation mechanisms and yield variability.
