The Radiosa variety was obtained by crossing the Almas and Pedro varieties. The plant reaches a height of about 95 cm, has an erect bush shape, purple flowers, silvery pubescence, and pointed-oval green leaves.

The seeds of the variety have a flattened-spherical shape, yellow color, and yellow hilum; the thousand kernel weight is about 160 g. The pods are light brown in color. By the time of harvest, the plant stem dries out and the leaves fall off.

The variety belongs to maturity group 1- and has high grain yield potential. It is used as a commercial agricultural crop and is distinguished by a reduced content of anti-nutritional substances.
