The average plant height of the Regir variety is about 90 cm. The variety is classified as late-maturing, with a growing season of about 120 days. In field trials, the average yield of the variety reached 45.3 c/ha, and in laboratory hydroponic conditions, high germination energy was recorded at the 96.8% level.

The variety has been used in research projects, such as MELiSSA, to evaluate the suitability for cultivation in controlled environments of bioregenerative life support systems. Information on protein content, oil content, and disease resistance is not available in the provided materials.
