The RGT Stepa variety is used for grain cultivation as a source of protein. During agricultural trials within COBORU programs, indicators for thousand kernel weight and total protein content were recorded, the values of which vary depending on the growing year conditions.
In 2021 agronomic observations, a feature of the variety was noted, expressed as relatively lower resistance to lodging before harvest compared to some other varieties undergoing trials.
