The Rosa variety is a mutant obtained as a result of exposure to gamma radiation at a dose of 80 Gy on the seeds of the American variety Hodson. The plant shows high yield potential both under rainfed agriculture and irrigation conditions.

The variety possesses genetic resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and bacteriosis. At the same time, the plant's root system demonstrates sensitivity to osmotic stress.

Due to the high capacity of tissues for callus formation and prolonged in vitro growth, this variety is actively used in scientific research for developing methods to produce nutraceuticals and studying biotransformation mechanisms.
