The Smuhlianka soybean variety is characterized by the formation of small but well-filled seeds. When calibrating seed material to select high-quality seeds, the use of sieves with a mesh size of 2.2 by 20 millimeters is recommended.

The plant has a high density of productive stems. The variety demonstrates a positive response to agrotechnical measures: studies show an increase in yield when applying ammonium nitrate, and the use of humic stimulants has also been studied.
