Plant of medium height with purple flowers and tawny pubescence. Seeds have a dark hilum, 1000 kernel weight is about 150 grams. High attachment of the lower pod facilitates mechanized harvesting.
The variety is intended for grain cultivation. Lodging resistance is noted, however, the variety is susceptible to Sclerotinia.
