The variety is the result of a breeding program to adapt soybeans to the Swedish climate using accessions from the northern regions of Japan and China. The crop was intended for cultivation at a latitude of 58° N and demonstrated high resistance to low summer temperatures.

The plant is classified as an extremely early-maturing variety, maturing 12 days earlier than the 'Fiskeby V' variety. Morphologically, the variety is characterized by oval-shaped seeds with a distinct hilum. The intended use of the variety included the production of seeds for feed or food purposes.

Currently, the variety has been withdrawn from commercial use, but its genetic material is preserved in specialized gene banks for research purposes and the maintenance of biodiversity.
