The variety «Забава» belongs to the very early maturity group. The growing season when grown at 45° latitude is 94 days.

The plant possesses increased cold tolerance, especially during the germination phase, and drought tolerance. Reduced sensitivity to day length ensures yield stability under various cultivation conditions. The variety is adapted for many regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and Siberian regions.
